Mental Health Awareness Week

We are supporting #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek and are encouraging our colleagues to take part in initiatives throughout the week to reconnect with nature.

Getting outdoors has been proven to offer many mental and physical health benefits and we’re hoping the weather allows us some nice sunny walks at lunchtime this week! #ConnectwithNature and #PlantBritian

We understand the importance of talking and supporting our colleagues – we have put lots of great resources in place for our teams; access to free counselling through our EAP scheme Lifeworks and all of our managers have had Mental Health Awareness training.

It’s good to talk, let’s change the stigma. For more information, please visit Mates in Mind

Developed with the Lord Mayor’s Appeal and PwC, Wellbeing in the Workplace (formerly Wellbeing in the City) is an online learning programme which brings Samaritans’ listening and wellbeing expertise into the workplace. It teaches employees the skills to look after their emotional health and look out for others, before they reach crisis point.
